Rebel Radio Tensnake’s remix of Charlotte Gainsbourg’s ‘Sylvia Says’ is every bit as engrossing as the original

If you’ve yet to listen to Charlotte Gainsbourg’s SebastiAn-produced album ‘Rest’ you’re really missing out on one of the best albums of last year.
For those who have, we applaud your impeccable taste, and would like to point you in the direction of Tensnake’s remix of ‘Sylvia Says’.
Through the process of jollification, Tensnake does what Tensnake does best — he flips Gainsbourg’s ‘Sylvia Says’ into a heady mix of twangin’ electro and 80s synth pop.
Throw in a suitably over-the-top breakdown and plenty of Gainsbourg’s honeyed vocals and you’ve got our new favourite track of 2018 thus far (admittedly this does change almost daily).
Basically, you need this track in your life.
